Although I'm found and used in many settings, I'm a hard color to love. Many people claim I'm their least favorite color because of the connotations I have with dirtiness. Yet those who enjoy me in nature appreciate my warm, earthy beauty.
People don't generally like to wear me because I'm neither truly neutral or colorful. I also clash with many people's physical features, being the most common hair and eye color in the world. Maybe there's simply too much of me in the world for people to appreciate me on a regular basis..
Where You Can Find Me
I'm most often found in forests and architecture. People use me as a main interior design and furniture color. Because I remind people of trees and give a warm, "woodsy" feel, people who prefer traditional or vintage-style homes tend to use me more in their rooms. They like that I provide less artificiality than other materials like concrete or metal.
When people think of 'earthy" colors, I'm one of the first that come to mind. Nearly everything on land comes from something of my color. The air you breathe, from the trunks of the trees that provide oxygen. The soil that grows fruit and vegetables for animals and humans to enjoy.
