Pink

I am adored by some, hated by others. Think of me what you will, I'll always have a special place in someone's heart. Bold and expressive, or soft and alluring, people who love me appreciate my ability to add a pop of unique personality.

Although I'm often associated with femininity, both genders like different shades of me for a variety of reasons. Those who admire soft, baby pink feel attracted to its subtle sophistication. Those who like my darker, bolder shades love that I'm loud and unapologetic. Because I'm stereotyped as a "girly" color, people can use me to either break or embrace those stereotypes as part of their personality.

Where You Can Find Me

People like to use me in fashion, accessories, and accent colors for room decor.

I'm not often associated with nature, but when I am, I'm mostly found in flowers. People also love seeing me blend into orange and red in a beautiful sunset.

Testimonies About Me

About baby pink: "It's a soft, but happy color."

"I like that it can be both soft and loud."

"It has a vintage feel. It goes with a lot, and can be an accent or background color."

"I think it's a beautiful color on its own, but I don't like that it's used to indicate femininity because that's not how I like to express my femininity."

About bright, bold pink: "It's a good accent to neutral tones. Bold without overwhelming."

"I like wearing accents of it like in soccer cleats or socks."

"When I was in middle school, I got called a 'faggot' for wearing pink for a drama class. Ever since then, I've wanted to wear that color to make a statement that I'm not afraid to be bold and different."

"It's bright, different, and matches well with white or black."

"Looks too tacky and girly."
