Purple
I am a color of royalty. I represent elegance, wealth, and boldness. I am both cool and warm. Depending on my shade, I can evoke different emotions. I'm a perfect mix of Red and Blue, and can lean more towards one or the other.
Some consider me closely related to pink. While many people like both myself and pink, some prefer to differentiate between us. Many prefer pink in its lighter shades. Some people like seeing us mixed together, in forms of magenta.
Where You Can Find Me
I'm found in nature in berries, fruits, vegetables, and flowers. I range from the deep, rich violet of eggplants to the light pastel of lavender flowers.
If I'm more reddish in hue, like wine, maroon, and plum, I'm associated with fall. I'm worn in rich, deep lipsticks and accessories to welcome the cool weather.
If I'm more blueish, like lavender, lilac, and mauve, I'm associated with spring. Weddings and bridal showers use me as soft accents. My unique hue often gets used in celebrations and festivities.
